Music Moods
Configure how music and sounds are handled in the game. This mod is particularly useful when resource packs and other mods constantly interrupt the current composition instead of allowing it to play to the end.
Usage
Music Moods is compatible with Minecraft version 1.19 and above, and requires Fabric API installation. It also supports operation through Sinytra Connector for Forge 1.20.1.
For convenient configuration, it is recommended to install Mod Menu, which provides easy access to configuration parameters. On versions 1.20.5 and newer, Mod Menu becomes mandatory since the configuration button no longer appears in the sound menu.
Simply install Minecraft 1.19+, Fabric or Quilt, along with any mods that may replace playing tracks. You can leave the default settings with smooth transitions between compositions or modify the configuration to prevent the current track from being interrupted.
The mod works especially well with BetterNether and BetterEnd, as it solves specific problems that arise when using these additions.
Configuration
With Mod Menu installed, you can edit the configuration directly in the game through the "Mods" menu, selecting "Music Moods" and clicking the "Configure..." button in the top right corner. A new button is also available in the music and sound settings menu.
Music
Situational Music
Includes main menu music, various biomes, underwater locations, and battles.
- Allow replacing current track - Allows replacing the playing music with a more suitable composition. Enabled by default.
- Always play on repeat - Immediately plays new situational music with a smooth transition from the old one. Enabled by default.
- Always play music - Determines whether music should play constantly. Useful if you dislike silence. Disabled by default.
- Fade time in ticks - Duration of smooth transition between tracks, measured in ticks (20 TPS). Default is 30 seconds (600 ticks).
