Mutant Creatures Legacy
Mutant Creatures Legacy is a fork of the Mutant Beasts modification by Chumbanotz, which in turn is a port of the original Mutant Creatures mod by shcott21/thehippomaster21. This version is designed to fix issues present in the initial port for Minecraft 1.12.2 and also includes new quality-of-life features and settings that enhance the gameplay experience.
The core concept of the mod involves using a special substance called Chemical X. When thrown at certain standard mobs, they transform into powerful bosses, with defeating them granting unique rewards. Additionally, the mod features an enhanced snow golem that can be constructed and a spider pig that can be tamed.

The developers have paid special attention to the convenience of creating modpacks. All available parameters can be examined in the standard configuration file.

Question: Will there be porting or backporting for other versions?
Answer: Current development is exclusively for version 1.12.2. For other versions, there are alternative community ports available.

Answer: Although the possibility of adding a mutant spider was discussed as a long-term goal, the current main focus is on improving usability and fixing bugs.
