The NauTec modification is dedicated to exploring the depths of the ocean and discovering new technologies that can be both powerful and dangerous.

To begin your underwater adventure, you need to find a geode with prismarine crystals hidden beneath ruins made of dark prismarine. These ruins also contain an Aquatic Catalyst that can be used to generate your first energy.

Since the oceans in this modification are deeper than in the standard version of Minecraft, it is highly recommended to create a diving suit, which also removes the underwater fog effect.

After filling the catalyst with fuel (such as kelp via a hopper) and activating it with a Heart of the Sea, it will start generating energy and direct a laser beam at any blocks within a 15-block radius.

By directing the beam into the crystal, you can increase its purity, allowing you to perform item transformation using the laser. To do this, simply throw an item into the beam. Be careful—the beams can cause burns!

If you throw iron under the laser, it will transform into Aquarine Steel—the main material of the modification. Congratulations! You have completed the initial stage and can now explore the mod on your own or with the help of a guidebook.

Once you have Aquarine Steel, you can create various devices: a mixer for studying deep-sea chemistry, a deep-sea drain for accumulating salt water, and an augmentation station for modifying your body with various implants.
