Necro-Rooted!

Welcome to the World of Necro-Rooted!
"Necro-Rooted" marks the author's debut Java development that introduces terrifying parasites into the game, whose sole purpose is to destroy all living things.
Infection System and Origin of Plague
The spread of contamination begins with the appearance of unique organisms — Necro-Blossoms! These creatures are entirely composed of plant tissues, particularly a special type of roots called "Necro-Roots". Necro-Blossoms spawn exactly like vanilla enemies — in dark areas.
They emerge from the ground and remain motionless for a few seconds before opening up and releasing the main carriers of the mod — Necro-Spores. These spores possess consciousness and thinking abilities. They fly around the map, and upon colliding with a target, they penetrate the organism's interior, applying the "Growing" effect.

When the effect completes its duration, the entity becomes infected. If the entity lacks an infected version, it transforms into two new spores.
Vulnerabilities and Protection Methods
Parasites' Weaknesses
Unlike most infection-themed mods, these creatures don't fear fire — they're completely immune to it. However, they have a serious weakness — vulnerability to water. Any contact with water causes Necro-Creatures to gradually perish. Interestingly, they sink in water but can float in lava.
How to Avoid Infection
The only way to prevent infection is to enter water. Simply being in aquatic environment neutralizes the effect and saves potential victims.
