Nethelurgy - Enriching the Nether with New Resources

This modification expands the possibilities of the Nether by adding valuable resources that make exploring this dangerous territory more worthwhile and interesting during the mid-game stages.

New Mineral Resources

Ignite - The Scorching Gem

This blazing stone, filled with the energy of the Nether's eternal fire, can be found almost everywhere in the Nether, except for Soul Sand Valleys. Ignite burns significantly longer than regular coal, making it an efficient fuel source. Although ignite deposits are rarer than coal ones, they're easy to spot due to their characteristic glow.

Tungsten - Heat-Resistant Metal

A heavy and dense metal with exceptional thermal resistance. Found throughout the Nether, but more frequently discovered below lava level (Y = 32). Tungsten can be used to create equipment that occupies an intermediate position between iron and diamond. Tools made from this metal work slower than iron ones but deal more damage and can mine stronger materials. Tungsten armor provides knockback resistance and slightly better protection compared to iron. Thanks to thermal resistance, tungsten items don't get destroyed in lava, just like netherite ones, but their smelting takes twice as long.

Basalt Iron Ore

Typically found in basalt deposits in the Nether, making basalt deltas a reliable source of iron - provided you can navigate this challenging landscape.

Packed Netherrack

By itself, it's a compact storage block for netherrack. However, with Create installed, it can be crushed to obtain Nether Quartz and Gold Nuggets... and very rarely - Netherite Scrap!

Vanilla Gameplay Changes

Potions of Decay

The Wither effect now has a corresponding potion, as in Bedrock Edition. It can be created using a Wither Rose and Awkward Potions.

Piglin Brutes

Now drop Netherite Scrap with a 55% probability (which increases with Looting enchantment). With Looting III, the drop is guaranteed.
