Nether Chested

About the Modification

The Nether Chested mod introduces players to a completely new type of chest with unique properties. This chest has the capacity of a double chest but occupies the space of only a single one. However, the main feature is that each slot of such a chest can hold up to 8 times more items than a standard one.

While standard inventories allow storing up to 64 items in one slot, the nether chest can accommodate a full 512 units of each stackable item. This makes it incredibly useful for organizing the storage of large resource volumes.

Performance Optimization

To reduce system load when breaking a filled nether chest, it is recommended to install the additional Stxck mod by developer frankv_. This mod reduces lag caused by the appearance of multiple item entities and allows safely increasing the stack size multiplier in configuration settings.

Configuration

Mod configuration is available directly in-game through the mod menu (requires installation of Mod Menu by Prospector on Fabric). For older Minecraft versions, installation of Forge Config Screens may also be required.

For manual configuration via a text editor, all configuration files are located in the .minecraft/config folder and have names like MOD_ID-client.toml, MOD_ID-common.toml, or MOD_ID-server.toml depending on the setting type. Not all file types may be present for each mod.
