What is Nether Gen+?
Nether Gen+ completely replaces the standard Nether generator in all world types (except when a world type uses its own generator). The main feature of this mod lies in its configuration settings, where players can finely tune various aspects of Nether generation. You can set the world height to 256 blocks, change the noise generator, adjust noise parameters, add biomes from other mods, configure biome probability and size, as well as configure Nether Fortresses and much more! Standard Minecraft clients can also connect to servers with this mod installed!
Important Usage Notes:
- Adding any Overworld biomes may cause severe lag (if they contain trees, villages, or other surface structures).
- Standard Minecraft clients can connect to servers with this mod.
- Do not use the /locate command for biomes that do not exist in the Nether.
- Biome registry names can be viewed by pressing F3.
- Nether Fortresses will spawn above bedrock if you reduce the generator height but not the fortress height.
- Keep "nether" in the list of added biomes if it's the only biome in the list. You can remove it if you add other biomes to this entry.
- The game will fail to start if you use spaces in the configuration entry for added biomes. Lowercase letters only, no spaces!
- There is a possibility that this mod may conflict with other Nether-altering mods. In such cases, leave information about incompatibility in the comments.
