Nether Tweaks
The main feature of this mod is the optional world type called "Hellworld". You can select it when creating a new world. If you don't want to play in this mode, everything else will work without it — details are described in the wiki.
In "Hellworld" mode, you start the game in the Nether and respawn there. Leaving this dimension, except through the End, is impossible. Even if you manage to reach the End, water will evaporate there just like in the Nether. To obtain necessary resources, similar to Skyblock, you have various devices and tools at your disposal.
If mods are installed that add resources unavailable in the Nether, they can be added via JSON files in the Nether Tweaks configuration folder. Other devices can also process new items and blocks using the corresponding configurable JSON files. Many configuration options are available, including disabling individual blocks and items.
Beginners are recommended to check out the "Hellworld" page in the wiki.
The wiki has been updated. The latest changelog can be found here.
If you know a language other than US English or German (Germany) and want to help with translation, you can translate this file. Then name it according to your language code and leave a link in the comments. Language codes look like this: de-de (German, Germany) or pt-br (Portuguese, Brazil). Currently, Brazilian Portuguese, French (France), and Spanish (Spain) are supported, translated via www.deepl.com
Since version 1.5.0, this mod requires SFHCore! Always use the latest version for your Minecraft version. If this is not the case, let me know.
Please note: Version 2.0.1+ was made for Forge version 14.23.5.2838. It may work with higher or lower versions of Forge, but I cannot guarantee that.
When installing a new version, the JSON files in the NTM configuration folder must be deleted so that new/updated recipes can load.
Tested Mods: If you know what other mods work with this mod or what possible recipe overrides exist, let me know!
Modpack Policy: You are free to use this mod in all modpacks, mentioning the author would be a nice bonus!
Please report all bugs politely on the issues page.
