Never Break

Imagine this scenario: you're diligently mining resources underground, and suddenly your favorite enchanted diamond pickaxe breaks right in your hands. Or you're farming with a diamond hoe, and it unexpectedly vanishes into thin air. The Never Break mod solves this problem once and for all!

This mod adds a unique enchantment called "Persistence" that can be applied to any tool or armor. When an item with this enchantment completely wears out, it doesn't disappear from your inventory but simply stops functioning until repaired. This makes it particularly effective when combined with the Mending enchantment.

How does it work?

For tools: when durability is completely depleted, the item remains in your inventory but ceases to perform its functions. A pickaxe won't be able to mine blocks, a hoe can't till soil, and flint and steel won't ignite fires.

For armor: when completely worn out, the armor is ignored in damage calculations, and all its enchantments are temporarily disabled.
