Thin Air [Forge & Fabric]

About the Modification
The Thin Air mod fundamentally changes the breathing mechanics in Minecraft, turning exploration of heights and depths into a genuine survival challenge. The further you move away from sea level, the more difficult it becomes to breathe. Ordinary cave expeditions or mountain climbs suddenly transform into life-threatening endeavors without proper air supply. And you'd better not even think about traveling to the Nether...

Main Features
Dangerous Breathing Zones
- Below Y=0 and above Y=128, you gradually lose air
- Breathing becomes difficult in the Nether
- There's no air at all in the End - breathing is impossible here
Protection Equipment
- Potions of Free Breathing (renamed from Water Breathing) provide temporary protection
- Respirators and Air Bladders will help you survive in dangerous conditions
- Soul Fire, Soul Torches, and Soul Campfires create safe zones
- Bottle of Soulfire restores your lungs
Useful Items
- Safety Lanterns change color in your inventory and in the world, showing air quality around you
- Lanterns can be dyed for decorative purposes
- Right-clicking a torch makes it emit particles - a great way to mark a cave exit
Additional Threats
- Drowned will choke the air out of you when attacking

Installation
IMPORTANT: REQUIRED ON CLIENT & REQUIRED ON SERVER
MANDATORY DEPENDENCIES:
- PUZZLES LIB (for Forge and Fabric)
- FABRIC API (Fabric only)
- FORGE CONFIG API PORT (Fabric only)

Configuration
Configuration can be easily changed directly in-game through the mod menu (requires installation of Mod Menu for Fabric or Forge Config Screens for Forge).
For manual configuration, all files are located in the .minecraft/config folder and are named MOD_ID-client.toml, MOD_ID-common.toml, or MOD_ID-server.toml depending on the configuration type. Not all types may be present for this mod.
On older mod versions, server configuration files are located in .minecraft/saves/WORLD_NAME/serverconfigs, meaning separate configuration is required for each world.
