Nice Swimming Mounts
This datapack unlocks an exciting new capability: you can now swim with your favorite rideable creatures! Simply ride any supported mob into water - and your mount will automatically start swimming instead of the usual water behavior.
When the riding animal submerges underwater, you can guide its movement toward the surface by pressing the sprint button. Nice bonus: while the mob is used as transportation, it becomes immune to drowning damage.
💧 Available Riding Animals
The modification covers the following creatures:
- Strider (keep in mind it still takes damage in water)
- Camel
- Horse
- Zombie Horse
- Skeleton Horse
- Donkey
- Mule
- Llama
- Trader Llama
- Pig
⚙️ Easy Installation
Simply install the datapack in your world - nothing else needs to be done! The modification starts working immediately and requires minimal configuration.
If you're playing on a PaperMC server (or its forks like Purpur), make sure the allow-non-player-entities-on-scoreboards option is enabled in Paper configuration files by setting it to true - this will ensure all features work correctly.
