Discover a New Way to Play in Minecraft

Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of ninjas with this modification that adds authentic weapons and tools used by Japanese shadow warriors to Minecraft. Genuine ninja blades, projectile weapons, and special tools will help you see gameplay in a completely new light.

The special feature of this mod is that it completely aligns with Minecraft's vanilla aesthetic. All added items are carefully balanced and don't disrupt game balance - no overpowered effects, only realistic and functional tools of real ninjas.

A key feature is also the Ninja Manual - a special item that provides permanent bonuses when kept in your inventory. When you obtain it, you gain unique abilities characteristic of skilled masters of stealth.

COMPATIBILITY

Ninja Sword, Tekkokagi, and Kunai are fully compatible with the Better Combat mod. All main weapons from this module automatically adapt to the new animation system if you have the compatible mod installed.

MAIN TYPES OF WEAPONS AND TOOLS

MELEE WEAPONS WITH HISTORICAL ROOTS

Tessen (鉄扇) - combat iron fan, 6 damage, attack speed 2.0
Has dual purpose: used as melee weapon and as shield when right-clicked.

Takeyari (竹槍) - bamboo spear, 6 damage, attack speed 1.2
Simple but effective pole weapon.

Sai (釵) - famous three-pronged weapon, 4 damage, speed 2.8
While historically there's no record of real ninjas using it, it became classic through popular culture.

Jitte (十手) - baton with hook for blade capture, 5 damage, speed 2.2
Similar to Sai but differs with only one side branch.

Bokken (木刀) - wooden training sword, 4 damage, speed 1.6
Excellent replacement for regular wooden sword with unique appearance.

Shikoro (錣) - pole saw, 5 damage, speed 2.4
Has efficiency of iron axe and was used for infiltrating enemy fortifications

Tekkokagi (手甲鉤) - clawed metal gauntlets, 4 damage, speed 2.8
Low damage compensated by high attack speed

Ninja Sword - authentic ninja blade, 7 damage, speed 2.4
Rare treasure weapon with special abilities when off-hand is empty.

PROJECTILE AND THROWING WEAPONS

Kunai (クナイ) - versatile tool and weapon, 4 damage, speed 3.2
Can be thrown (6 damage) and used as shovel. Thrown kunai can be picked up but durability decreases.

Shuriken (手裏剣) - throwing star, 6 damage halved after 1 second flight
Short range but can be thrown while moving

Kashaken (火車剣) - fiery shuriken version, 7 damage + burning for 6 seconds
10% slower than regular shuriken

Bo Shuriken (棒手裏剣) - stick version of classic shuriken
Exactly such throwing sticks were actually used by ninjas

Dokuken (毒剣) - poisoned bo shuriken
50% chance Poison I for 8 seconds, 10% chance Poison II for 8 seconds

SPECIAL TOOLS

Tetsubishi (鉄菱) - iron caltrops, 2 damage + slowness 6 seconds Scattered on ground, disappear after 2 minutes Removed when sneaking close

Mokubishi (木菱) - wooden tetsubishi version, 1 damage + slowness 2 seconds Easier to produce but weaker effect. Disappears after 1 minute

Horoku Hiya (焙烙火矢) - explosive weapon creating flames without block destruction Based on real Japanese weapon consisting of two ceramic bowls with powder

Taikoku Hiya (大国火矢) - projectile with small explosion and flame after 4 seconds Explodes instantly upon hitting entity, flies straight thanks to powder charge

Toribiho (捕火方) - flamethrower! Max durability 300 4 damage + fire for 10 seconds, destroys plants and cobwebs Repowered with black powder (100 durability) or gunpowder (25 durability)

Fundo Tsubute (分銅つぶて) - throwing weapon scattering 12 bullets 4 damage at close range, decreases to 1 depending on distance

Tekagi (手鉤) - tool for climbing walls In two hands climbing speed 1.5 times higher

Uchitake (打竹) - super-long range lighter Shoots sparks igniting impact point, destroys plants and cobwebs, sets mobs on fire for 5 seconds

Torinoko (鳥の子) - smoke bomb with white smoke Blinds mobs for 1 second after leaving smoke. Cooldown 20 seconds Black version blinds for 3 seconds

NINJA MANUALS

Special books providing permanent bonuses when kept in inventory. Found in chests of various structures. Duplicates don't enhance effect.

Suiton (水遁の術) - Water escape art
+75% movement speed in water

Katon (火遁の術) - Fire escape art
+20% speed when fire present within 6 blocks. Effect lasts 5 seconds after leaving

Daho (打法) - Throwing method
Shurikens: +2 damage, +25% speed, halving time increases from 1 to 2 seconds

Ansatsu (暗殺) - Assassination art
Double damage to mobs from behind

Hishingyo (飛神行) - Divine movement
Fall damage immunity up to 10 blocks

Enthon (煙遁の術) - Smoke escape art
Ignores torinoko blindness. +20% speed in smoke, effect lasts 5 seconds

Onmitsu (隠密) - Stealth art
+200% speed when sneaking

FOOD

Hyorogan (兵糧丸) - travel rations, 5 hunger + 15 saturation. Eaten twice as fast as regular food.

Kikatsugan (飢渇丸) - healing food, 8 hunger + 20 saturation
Removes poison, wither, nausea and hunger. Eats faster than usual.
