Eliminate Boring Pillars in Minecraft
Tired of monotonous block towers sticking out in your world? This mod specifically addresses this issue. No more endless pillars made of stone, dirt, wood, or other materials. Players will need to show creative approach to construction - for example, using stairs or creating support structures with ladders.
This mod doesn't eliminate all types of unaesthetic builds, but effectively fights the most common type - single pillars of blocks reaching high into the sky.
Flexible Settings and Compatibility
The new version includes a whitelist system allowing to specify blocks for which vertical pillar creation is permitted. By default, the list includes regular and red sand, gravel, as well as scaffolding from the NotEnoughScaffold mod. All these blocks share a common feature - when the bottom block is removed, the upper blocks fall down. Scaffolding completely collapses, and with sand and gravel you're already familiar - don't forget to prepare a torch!
