Normal1.8zer
The latest compatibility tool for Minecraft servers version 1.8 that support connecting with modern game versions (including the popular Hypixel). This project is based on NoChangeTheGame by Cecer, but completely updated and optimized for current realities.
With the recent addition of sword blocking in vanilla version 1.21.4+, the need for many changes from the original mod has disappeared. In response to this progress, Normal1.8zer was developed, which preserves the basic functionality of NoChangeTheGame but actively uses Animatium's capabilities to implement the remaining features.
What functionality does the mod modify?
The modification affects the following game mechanics:
- Swimming disabled
- Crawling disabled
- Return to sneak hitbox from version 1.8 with MC-159163 bug fix
- Restoration of sprint reset in versions 1.21.5+
- Return of bucket mechanics to version 1.12.2
- Elimination of bed bounce
These adjustments make gameplay significantly smoother and more stable, eliminating typical compatibility issues. While the mod is compatible with any 1.8-based servers supporting version 1.21.4, the primary development goal is optimizing gameplay on Hypixel.
To configure parameters, use the /normalizerconfig command or set values through ModMenu if this mod is available.
