NotEnoughIDs Unofficial

This project is an unofficial continuation of the NotEnoughIDs mod for Minecraft version 1.7.10.

The mod has been almost completely rewritten from scratch while retaining all the original features. The main innovation is the expansion of metadata to 16 bits. This opens up additional possibilities for other mods, which can now use extended metadata instead of creating complex NBT structures using tile entities.

The mod is fully compatible with worlds created with the original NotEnoughIDs and can be installed as a direct replacement. However, it is strongly not recommended to use it simultaneously with the original version - choose only one of these mods.

IMPORTANT WARNING FOR VERSIONS BEFORE 2.0: Versions 1.5.X are functionally identical to the original mod but implemented in rewritten code. Metadata expansion was only added starting from version 2.0.
