Nyx: RotN Edition

The Rebirth of the Night modpack team participated in the creation of the Nyx mod to enhance the nighttime atmosphere in gameplay. Unfortunately, due to internal disagreements with the developer, we can no longer commission updates for the original Nyx mod. Since the mod is distributed under the MIT license, we created a fork to freely edit and update it. Like our other mods and forks, this version is developed through the collaborative efforts of the development team, recruited programmers, and community members.

Our goal is to support the Minecraft modding community by providing numerous settings and customization options for modpack creators, as well as fixing any emerging bugs. We plan to continue supporting version 1.12.2 for an extended period.

Additional changes are expected in the future, and we will update this fork if Ellpeck decides to continue developing Nyx. Please submit suggestions and bug reports on our GitHub! Thank you!

Changes compared to the original Nyx mod:

- Added a setting to change the damage multiplier of the Meteorite-Reinforced Bow

- Added a configuration option to replace the lunar water item

- Included experimental settings for handling meteors in unloaded chunks to reduce lag
