Old Obsidian

This mod restores to the game the mechanic of transforming redstone wiring into obsidian that existed previously. When you place lava next to red dust provided that water is nearby, the redstone magically transforms into an obsidian block.

This feature was originally an accidental bug in Minecraft versions 1.7 and earlier, but many players grew to love this unexpected gameplay element. Now, thanks to the Old Obsidian modification, you can once again enjoy this classic mechanic in modern versions of the game.
