OMG Utilities - Spinning Chest with Interest Rates
OMG Utilities mod represents a unique addition to Minecraft that introduces completely new economic gameplay into your world. Currently it contains special mechanics with a block called "Spiral Chest".
How Spiral Chest Works
This special block functions as a bank deposit for items. The main feature of the chest - it can store only one type of items at a time, but works on the principle of a deposit account with interest accrual. The more items you deposit for storage, the faster "interest" will be accrued in the form of additional copies of the stored item.
Important nuance: you cannot withdraw items from this chest! This is an investment that works only for accumulation.
Interest Accrual System
The interest accrual process is divided into five tiers depending on the number of stored items:
- Tier 1 (100 items) - new accrual every 2 hours
- Tier 2 (1000 items) - every 10 minutes
- Tier 3 (10000 items) - once per minute
- Tier 4 (100000 items) - every 5 seconds
- Tier 5 (1000000 items) - every game tick
This progressive system motivates players to strive for greater resource accumulation to get maximum returns.
