OptiFabric

OptiFabric is a specialized module that enables running OptiFine within the Fabric Mod Loader environment. This solution works by adapting the official OptiFine version for compatibility with Fabric during game runtime.

Important note: this project does not include OptiFine! You need to download it separately from the official website.

This project is not an official development of either Fabric or OptiFine and does not receive direct support from these projects.

If you use OptiFine solely for performance improvement, zoom function, or dynamic lighting, there are alternative mods that implement these features individually with more stable compatibility.

Installation

After installing Fabric for version 1.16.X, place the OptiFabric files and the latest OptiFine version from the official source into the mods folder. All OptiFabric versions for 1.16.5 are fully compatible with earlier versions down to 1.16.1, so there's no need to use older releases.

Fabric Loader can be any sufficiently new version from the official Fabric website.
