Ore Recursion [Forge]

What is this mod?
Are you familiar with the situation when during resource mining you come across a layer of gravel or dirt and immediately change direction? Or are you annoyed by the need to dig up useless gravel and dirt to continue your path? Now these blocks gain real value! This modification adds variations of all standard ores (coal, iron, gold, lapis, redstone, diamonds, emeralds) for gravel, dirt, and sand.
These ores behave exactly the same as regular versions in crafting recipes (and even more!), and have similar textures, simply overlaid on the corresponding base block.
Additionally, ocean floors now contain sand with ores (in addition to gravel and dirt)!
World Generation

The generation mechanics are simple: everywhere where gravel or dirt spawns underground, there's a chance that some blocks will be replaced with variations of standard ores of the corresponding type (gravel or dirt). All ores retain their usual spawn parameters - no ores spawn at height levels where they previously couldn't generate in stone, so don't worry about excessive changes to dirt, gravel, or sand. Emerald gravel/dirt only spawn in biomes where it's normally possible.
All ore variations are compatible with Forge tags (forge:ores/coal, forge:ores/iron, forge:ores/gold, etc.) and should be unified for all recipes using this system. Due to Minecraft's features, sand ores generate very rarely, but exist as an additional interesting option for modpack developers who would like to configure their own spawn parameters.
Mining Mechanics

All ore variations provide standard drops in usual quantities. Coal, redstone, lapis, diamonds, and emeralds can be enhanced with the Fortune enchantment (of course, on a shovel!), and require a shovel made of the material that would normally be required for a pickaxe (for example, diamond gravel requires an iron shovel, while coal gravel can be mined with a wooden one). Smelting recipes exist for each ore in both furnace and blast furnace, and silk touch works the same as with any standard Minecraft ores!
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a Fabric version? Not yet, but it's planned!
Why was this mod created? There are two main reasons. First, to add practical value to those pockets of dirt and gravel you find underground while mining. Second, it fits well into many modpack themes and hadn't been fully implemented yet, so I decided to create it for everyone who wants to use it in their builds.
Does this mod add new armor/tools/dogs/spaceships? No, this mod knows its boundaries. It's exclusively standard ores in various new variations, and I don't want to clutter it with random non-standard content since it's designed for easy integration into Vanilla+ builds or any other modpacks.
