Runes

Runes is a datapack that introduces 21 unique runes with various effects into the game - from health boosts to underwater breathing improvements. All runes are distributed across five rarity levels: from common to legendary, with not every rune type available at all rarity levels.

Where to find runes:

• Common runes drop from hostile mobs with a 1 in 15 chance
• Uncommon and rare runes can be found in chests - each chest has a 1 in 4 chance of containing a rune, with rare specimens being significantly less common
• Epic runes drop from bosses (Ender Dragon, Wither, Elder Guardian, Warden) with a 50% probability
• Legendary runes are one-time rewards for completing specific achievements - you'll need to discover which achievements bring these valuable rewards yourself

How to use runes:

Open the special runes menu using the player list key (default Tab, use Shift to return to the regular player list). The menu provides 7 slots: 2 for offensive runes, 2 for defensive, 2 for supportive, and one universal slot that accepts any rune type.

Place runes in the corresponding slots to activate their effects. Runes of the same type can stack (except for speed and night vision runes), enhancing the overall effect.

Important: For better visual clarity, it's highly recommended to use the Runes resource pack.
