Ornithe Standard Libraries

Ornithe Standard Libraries (OSL) represents a comprehensive set of libraries specifically designed for developers creating mods using the Ornithe platform. This toolkit includes various modules that simplify the process of developing and integrating modifications.

Core Modules

Base API - the fundamental system component containing universal utilities required for the operation of other modules. This includes event systems and registries that form the foundation for all other components.

Configuration System - offers a flexible framework for creating and managing mod configuration files, allowing easy customization of various mod functionality aspects.

Entry Points API - a developer tool that enables registering special entry points activated before game initialization.

Networking API - a powerful framework for organizing communication between client and server, particularly important for multiplayer mods.

Resource Management API - allows mods to load their own resources directly into the game, significantly expanding customization capabilities.

Lifecycle API - provides mechanisms for tracking different stages of Minecraft client and server operation.

Key Binding API - a hotkey management system with event support for registration and handling.

Interface Enhancement - a special module that adds modloader version information to the title screen for versions 16w05a and below, replicating the functionality introduced in 16w05b and subsequent releases. This is achieved by parsing game launch parameters, specifically the versionType option.

For Developers

Using our Ploceus Gradle plugin, you can easily add OSL dependencies to your projects:

// OSC functionality in Russian-language environment
dependencies {
    ...
    ploceus.connectOSL('0.16.3')
}

Also available is the option to connect individual OSL modules:

// Individual OSC modules
dependencies {
    ...
    ploceus.connectOSLmodule('core', '0.6.0')
    ploceus.connectOSLmodule('entrypoints', '0.4.3')
}
