Overworld Quartz ore - Quartz Ore in the Overworld

This mod adds quartz ore generation to the Minecraft Overworld, eliminating the need to visit the Nether to obtain this valuable resource.

Generation Features

Quartz ore spawns at the same rate as in the Nether, uniformly distributed throughout the world except for the top and bottom 10 blocks. If you wish to modify generation parameters, you can override configuration files to adjust the location and frequency of ore appearance, as well as vein size.

Mining and Renaming

When mining quartz ore, you receive the same amount of experience and quartz as when mining in the Nether. The mod also renames the "Nether Quartz" item to simply "Quartz" (English localization only).

Biome Configuration

For Fabric users, there's an option to exclude specific biomes from quartz ore generation by adding them to a special biome tag. On the Forge platform, this feature is implemented differently - you can configure your own biome modifier or modify the configuration file to use custom tags.
