Oxidized

Oxidized is a modification that significantly expands the possibilities of using copper in the standard version of Minecraft 1.17 and above. Since copper is presented quite limitedly in the base game, this mod offers various blocks, items, and mechanisms that organically fit into the vanilla style of gameplay.

Main Features

Electromagnetic Pulsar — a unique tool that works like an electromagnet. While in the player's inventory, it allows collecting experience and items at a distance 10 times greater than usual. Activated and deactivated with a right-click.

Copper Rails — an alternative to standard powered rails. The main advantage is that a chain of copper rails can remain active for up to 100 blocks, unlike 8 blocks for regular powered rails.

Vertical Cut Copper — a decorative building block resembling the original cut copper design that was changed in the final version of the game. Like regular copper, it can oxidize, but this process can be stopped by applying wax with honeycombs.

Copper Kiln — a specialized furnace for fast processing of cobblestone, clay, sand, and logs. Ideal for quickly obtaining terracotta, bricks, stone, charcoal, and glass for construction needs. Works on the principle of a smoker and blast furnace.

Copper Lanterns — a new type of lantern with green flame. Crafted from 8 copper nuggets and one torch. Functionally identical to regular lanterns.

Rose Gold Tools — an improved material for tools, created in a smithing table by combining a gold tool and a copper ingot. Has the durability of iron tools but the speed and enchantability of gold tools.

Copper Pan — a special block for passive resource panning. Works only when placed in water on a sand or gravel block. Over time, the pan finds various items with certain probabilities: iron nuggets (15%), gold nuggets (15%), sand (24%), emeralds (2%), gravel (12%), clay balls (32%). The search speed depends on the game's random tick speed.

Copper Golem — a mob inspired by the Minecraft Mob Vote 2021. Created by placing a lightning rod on a copper block. The golem wanders around and presses nearby copper buttons. Oxidizes over time but during thunderstorms heads towards lightning rods and restores when struck by lightning.
