Packages - Smart Storage for Minecraft

The Packages mod introduces an innovative storage system that adds special containers for items to the game. Each such container can hold up to 8 stacks of one item type, making it extremely useful for organizing your resources.

Main Features

Create containers from any solid blocks - this opens up endless possibilities for customization. Interaction with containers is intuitive: simply click on the front face to add or remove items, and you don't need to empty your hand.

For maximum convenience, use the CTRL key - it allows you to instantly fill or empty a container with one click. It's especially convenient that you can work with containers directly in your inventory, similar to how it works with bundles.

Unique Features

One of the most interesting functions is the ability to make a container "sticky" - in this case, it won't forget its contents even after being completely emptied. The main feature of the system is the fixed storage size: exactly 8 stacks without the possibility of upgrades or configuration. However, this limitation is compensated by the ability to nest containers inside each other and stack them when they contain the same items!

In their behavior, containers resemble budget alternatives to shulker boxes. You can measure their fill level with a comparator, destroy them with pistons, and use them with dispensers. All loader and unloader schemes developed for shulker boxes work perfectly with these containers as well.

Compatibility and Versions

The mod is available for various Minecraft versions and loaders. For Fabric 1.20.1, Sodium users may need to install Indium for proper model display. On Neoforge, you need to activate "NeoForge Light Pipeline" in client settings.
