Paint This!
The Paint This! mod opens up the possibility for players to engage in painting, using various dyes to create artwork on canvases of different sizes with the ability to sign and frame them.
Item Crafting
Horsehair plays a key role in creating various brushes. It can be obtained by shearing horses. Patient horses will allow you to collect their hair. After each shearing, horses become increasingly irritated but over time become patient again. A completely irritated horse will return to a state of full patience after 3 minutes and 20 seconds. On average, you'll get 3-4 horsehairs from three quick shearings at full patience.

Below are the main crafting recipes. From top to bottom, left to right: easel, 1×1 canvas, small brush, medium brush, large brush, palette, palette knife, and signing brush.

Palette
Dyes are added to the palette by placing them around it - each position corresponds to one of the eight slots on the palette. The palette knife is used to remove dyes. Place the palette knife next to the palette in the position of the dye you want to remove. The palette knife has durability and is repaired in an anvil with an iron ingot.
Canvas
To create a canvas larger than 1×1, arrange canvases in a rectangular shape so that for each canvas, the width of canvases above and below is the same, and the height of canvases to the left and right also matches. For example, to make a 2×1 canvas, place two 1×1 canvases horizontally. To create a 2×2 canvas, arrange four 1×1 canvases in a 2 by 2 square.
To frame a painting, simply surround the canvas with eight sticks.

Painting Process
Canvas
The maximum canvas size is 4×4. Canvases can be placed on a wall or on an easel. Canvases can be framed or unframed. Framed canvases are slightly larger in size, so they cannot be placed directly next to each other, unlike unframed canvases.
Easel
An easel is used to hold the canvas while painting. It can support canvases no larger than 3×2. Larger canvases must be placed on a wall. Easels are very similar to armor stands - they are affected by gravity and require several hits to break.
Palette
The palette allows you to change the dye on your brush. To do this, place the brush to the right of the palette in the quick access panel and use the palette to apply dye to the brush, cycling through the colors available on the palette.
Brush
The three brush sizes - small, medium, and large - have action radii of 1, 2, and 3 blocks respectively. To paint, use a brush with dye on a canvas while staying within 3 meters of it.
Signing Brush
The signing brush is used to sign your paintings. Apply dye to it like a regular brush, and depending on whether you use it on the left or right half of the canvas, the signature will be placed accordingly. A signed painting can only be edited by the author of the signature.
