Pamps Phytomining
This mod draws inspiration from the real process of phytomining, where certain plants can extract metals from soil and serve as organic ore for subsequent processing. Simply put - the mod adds agricultural crops that yield valuable resources.
New Block
Nutrient Rich Soil - this special soil periodically automatically fertilizes plants growing above it. Additionally, it's suitable for growing all types of ore crops.
Available Plants
- Rust-Root - used to obtain iron
- Gold Brush - source of gold
- Copperwort - produces copper
- Quartz Vine - yields Nether quartz
- Amethyst Vine - produces amethysts
- Blaze Shoots - used to create blaze powder
- Glow Shoot - source of glowstone
- Redstone Shoot - produces redstone
- Dragon Vine - used to obtain dragon's breath
Also added the ability to craft glow lichen from regular vines and glowstone.
How to Obtain Plants
Natural Growth
- Rust-Root - grows on podzol in jungles and taiga
- Gold Brush - found in savannas
- Quartz Vine - grows on Netherrack in the Nether
- Copperwort - grows in deserts, badlands, stony peaks, and beaches
Mutated Varieties
Some plants can be modified by placing them in a brewing stand and adding specific materials:
- Amethyst Vine - quartz vine + amethyst shard
- Blaze Shoots - blaze rod + amethyst vine
- Glow Shoot - blaze shoots + glowstone dust
- Redstone Shoot - glow shoot + redstone dust
Trading
Wandering traders occasionally sell some of the available plants. The only way to obtain dragon vine is to buy it from a wandering trader.

- Copperwort - 5 emeralds
- Quartz Vine - 8 emeralds
- Dragon Vine - 8 emeralds
