Pam's HarvestCraft
Mod Overview
Pam's HarvestCraft is a comprehensive Minecraft modification that significantly expands the agricultural and culinary aspects of the game. The mod adds an enormous amount of new content, transforming ordinary farming into an engaging and diverse experience.
Main Features
The mod includes 80 new agricultural crops, including cotton for obtaining threads, as well as 6 types of garden bushes that can be harvested or allowed to spread like mushrooms. The world features 50 fruit and resource trees, 19 new fish species that can be caught with a regular fishing rod, and a simple beekeeping system with wax candles, honey and wax blocks, and reinforced leather armor.
In total, the mod adds over 1400 new items and dishes, including rebalanced restoration values for standard Minecraft food, encouraging players to experiment with diverse nutrition instead of constantly consuming the same products.
Functional Blocks
The mod introduces several unique functional blocks:
- Presser - allows production of various resources including honey, bubbly water, baits, and paper
- Well - gives infinite water sources a more attractive appearance
- Market - enables purchasing seeds, saplings, tamed animal eggs, and bone meal for emeralds
- Shipping Bin - allows selling crops, fish, meat, and beekeeping products for emeralds
- Ground and Water Traps - use bait for automatic resource collection
Additional Features
Players can plant crops directly from harvest items (like potatoes and carrots in the standard game), transform buckets of water and milk into fresh versions for convenient use in recipes, and use tofu as a vegetarian meat replacement. The mod supports right-click functionality for harvesting with automatic replanting, including standard Minecraft crops.
All items are added to the Ore Dictionary for easy integration with other mods, and the configuration file provides settings for all aspects of the mod.
