Pam's HarvestCraft 2 - Trees: Fruit Trees for Minecraft
This mod represents a completely new version of the popular add-on, not just an update. It adds 50 different fruit trees to the game that naturally spawn in appropriate biomes.
Beneath the leaves of these trees grow fruits as separate blocks resembling agricultural crops. They can be harvested with a simple right-click. The uniqueness of these fruit blocks lies in the fact that they don't require light, soil, or water to grow - they only need leaves above them.
Some fruits, such as cinnamon, maple syrup, and paperbark, look like logs. The main difference is that these fruit "logs" block light and are impassable.
Fruit blocks can be cut with shears and placed under other leaves, opening up wide possibilities for decorating your world.
To grow fruit trees, special saplings are used, which are created by combining fruits with regular saplings suitable for specific biomes.
