Performance Tweaks

Performance Tweaks is a modification that brings together several minor optimizations into one convenient package. The mod works equally well on both client and server, and can be used in either of these modes separately or simultaneously. All optimizations applied are not my creation - I merely combined them into a universal solution for modern game versions.

Version Features

Important: Different versions of Performance Tweaks contain various optimization sets! The types of improvements made are indicated in the file name using abbreviated codes. For example, version 1.0.0;ac;ec includes "alternate current" optimization and entity collision FPS fix.

Entity Collision FPS Fix (ec)

Disables collision checks on the client side since these calculations are already performed by the server. This significantly reduces system load when there are many mobs and other entities present.

• Extremely lightweight optimization, compatible with almost all mods

Alternate Current (ac)

Improves server performance by reducing the number of block updates and power recalculations in redstone circuits.

• Server only
• The level of interference with original code is minimal, ensuring high compatibility (except for mods that radically change redstone mechanics)

For those who don't want to use this optimization, there are versions without the "ac" code in the name. Additionally, it can be disabled using the alternatecurrent off command.

Rail Optimization (ro)

Replaces inefficient recursive block state checking methods for rails in the original game with a faster and more direct algorithm for powered rails.

• Uses only one mixin, no compatibility issues expected

Valkyrien Skies 2 Fixes (vs)

Solves the problem of missing block textures on large ships caused by Embeddium's resource-saving face culling feature.
