Potion Descriptions (Fabric/Quilt)
Note: This is the Fabric/Quilt version. For the Forge version, please refer to the corresponding page.
Important: This mod requires Cloth Config! It is also highly recommended to install TooltipFix for optimal performance.
This compact client-side mod draws inspiration from the popular Enchantment Descriptions mod by Darkhax and offers similar functionality for potions. When you crouch (configurable in settings), potion tooltips display detailed descriptions of their effects. No more need to memorize what each potion does!
Compatibility and Support
Currently, descriptions are available for all items using the same NBT structure as standard potions and suspicious stews (configurable). Additionally, the mod has explicit support for some potion-like items from other mods!

Configuration and Localization
If you wish to add support for other mods or localization for your language, pull requests are welcome!
To add a description, you need to insert the following lines into the language file:
POTION.description=Description (1.19.2)
description.POTION=Description (pre 1.19.2)where POTION is the name of the potion effect. If in doubt, you can enable logging of missing descriptions in the configuration.
