Potion Descriptions [Neo/Forge] — descriptions of potion effects

This mod is an updated and rewritten version of the original Potion Descriptions by Azmalent. This client-side addition draws inspiration from the work of Darkhax on enchantment descriptions and applies a similar approach to potions.

When the character is sneaking (this behavior can be configured), the pop-up tooltips for potions display detailed descriptions of their effects. Now you don't have to remember what each potion does!

Currently, descriptions are available for all items using the same NBT structure as standard potions. Additionally, the mod includes special support for some potions and similar items from other mods.

If you want to contribute to this list or add localization for your language, we'll gladly accept your suggestions! To add a description, you need to insert the following line into the language file:

"effect.modid.potion_name.description": "Description of the potion's action"
