Potted Farms: Automated Farms in Flower Pots

Tired of chopping down trees manually? Now you can create automated farms using ordinary flower pots. Simply place a sapling in a pot, add an item frame with an axe, and several hoppers — the system will automatically harvest crops for you.

How It Works

Different axe types have varying working speeds:

• Wooden: 30 seconds
• Stone: 25 seconds
• Iron: 20 seconds
• Diamond: 15 seconds
• Netherite: 10 seconds
• Golden: 5 seconds

Axes gradually lose durability during use but never break completely. When a tool has only 1 durability point left, it automatically goes into the hopper along with collected resources. For bamboo, cactus, and dead bush, axe durability doesn't decrease — use golden axes for maximum efficiency!

Enhancements and Features

You can enchant axes with "Unbreaking" to extend their lifespan or "Mending" to completely preserve durability. The "Silk Touch" enchantment allows obtaining leaves instead of saplings along with wood.

The modification perfectly fits the vanilla game style. For example, dark oaks have a small chance to yield an apple instead of regular resources, and mushrooms with a 33% probability produce only one mushroom, mimicking giant mushroom behavior in the game.

Special drops for various plants:

• Jungle trees: cocoa beans and vines
• Mangrove trees: roots, moss carpet, and vines
• Crimson fungus: weeping vines
• Warped and crimson fungus: shroomlights

Creating a Farm

Place the main hopper with an item frame containing your chosen axe. Then add up to 4 additional hoppers pointing into the main one, with pots on them containing desired saplings.

The system can be expanded by adding more hoppers directed into the main one (with the axe in the frame).
