Power Advantage
About the Modification
Power Advantage is a Minecraft mod that provides a simple API for creating various power systems in the game, such as steam engines. The mod itself includes several useful item transport mechanisms that operate without requiring energy. These conveyors help sort items and can move them upward, unlike regular hoppers. Also added are devices for collecting, storing, and distributing liquids - water, lava, and others.
Additional mods using the Power Advantage API (for example, Steam Advantage) expand capabilities by adding new types of energy and mechanisms.
Compatibility and Requirements
Power Advantage requires Java 8 or a newer version. If you have Java 6 or 7 installed, you need to update to the latest Java SE version.
Required mods:
- Forge (version 11.14.1.1334 or newer)
- Base Metals (version 1.3.0 or newer)

License and Modifications
Power Advantage, Steam Advantage, and Electric Advantage are distributed under the LGPL-3 open-source license. You can freely use these mods in your modpacks without obtaining special permission. It is also permitted to use the code of these mods in your own developments provided you include a link to the Power Advantage source code.
Working with the API
Deobfuscated API files in .jar format and code documentation (javadocs) are available on the project page on GitHub in the Releases section. To navigate to GitHub, click Source in the navigation panel, then select Releases.
