Powerful Sauces

The Powerful Sauces mod introduces various sauces to Minecraft that, when applied to food items, grant them special properties – both beneficial and harmful. Each sauce provides a specific potion effect, but it's important to note: if you consume just the sauce by itself, there will be no effect – you need to eat food that has been sauced.

Mod Features

Powerful Sauces requires Architectury API to function properly, as well as the Croptopia mod which provides all the necessary crafting ingredients for the sauces. All recipe ingredients are already available in Croptopia by default.

Enhanced Sauce Versions

Each sauce in the mod has an enhanced version that offers effects with 1.5 times longer duration and increased effect level by one compared to the regular version. To create an enhanced sauce, place a normal sauce in the center of the crafting grid and surround it with four bottles o' enchanting.

How to Use Sauces

Applying sauce to any food item is very simple – just place the food item next to the sauce in the crafting grid. After this, the food will gain the corresponding effects.

Available Sauces

• Ketchup – provides regeneration
• Mustard – gives absorption
• Mayonnaise – boosts maximum health
• Barbecue – increases strength
• Worcestershire – causes hunger
• Mushroom – instantly restores health
• Chili – enhances attack power
• Tartar – enables underwater breathing

All the listed sauces also have their enhanced versions with improved characteristics.
