Predench

The Predench modification introduces two unique items into the game that significantly simplify the enchanting process:

New Items

• Vitriolic Feather
• Strange Writing Book

Item Creation

To create a vitriolic feather, a special crafting recipe is used:

The vitriolic feather is then used to craft the strange writing book. This requires a regular book and a glowing ink sac - all ingredients are placed on the crafting table without a specific shape.

How to Use

Take the strange writing book in your main hand, and the item you want to enchant in your offhand. Then simply click on the enchanting table. This operation will cost 3 experience levels and will consume the strange writing book, but in return you will receive a complete report on available enchantments for the item in your offhand.

Enchantment Reset

If the offered enchantments don't satisfy you, you can reset them. To do this, place a bucket of water in your offhand and a dry sponge in your main hand, then click on the enchanting table again. This action will reset the current enchantment options and offer new ones.
