Prevent Despawn — Protection for Valuable Items

Don't let your most valuable discoveries disappear! This mod solves the problem of rare items vanishing in the Minecraft world, offering a simple yet effective solution.

The addon operates as a server-side mod that prevents random objects from despawning in the game world. You just need to add the desired item to the special prevent_despawn tag, and it will no longer disappear over time.

Currently, the functionality applies to item entities (ItemEntities), covering most gameplay objects.

By default, particularly valuable resources are already included in the protected items list:
"minecraft:dragon_egg",
"minecraft:nether_star",
"minecraft:totem_of_undying"

The mod will help save dragon eggs, nether stars, and totems of undying if you accidentally drop them — now they won't vanish forever!
