Profession Lock

This server-side mod addresses a common issue in Minecraft where players repeatedly break and place villager workstations to reset their professions and obtain the most favorable trades. This approach breaks game immersion and significantly simplifies gameplay.

Key Feature: With the Profession Lock mod, a villager's profession remains fixed even after their workstation is destroyed. This means players can no longer endlessly cycle through trade options, making interactions with villagers more meaningful and balanced.

Bug Fixes:

• MC-177505: Fixed the issue where cured villagers could work at incorrect workstations (versions 1.16.2 - 1.19)
• MC-146891: Eliminated the possibility of nitwit villagers obtaining professions (versions 1.16.2 - 1.19)
