Proletarian (Fabric)

This mod introduces two main enhancements that significantly expand the crafting possibilities within the game.

Crafting Station

This functional block is crafted in a simple way: a regular crafting table is placed on top of a barrel. The resulting structure combines the best of both worlds.

• Two-tier storage: The top section serves as a standard crafting interface, while the bottom part functions as a full barrel inventory.
• Recipe preservation: A unique feature is the ability to store items in the crafting grid. This allows you to "memorize" a specific recipe, which will be visually displayed on the surface of the block.
• Automation: The lower compartment, like a regular barrel, can interact with hoppers for supplying or removing items. However, the crafting grid remains inaccessible for automation via hoppers.

Villager Worker

A new profession for villagers, for which the Crafting Station is the designated workstation. Unlike other professions, this NPC does not offer standard trades.

• Automatic Crafting: Its main function is the automated creation of items. If a valid recipe is stored in the crafting grid of its Station and there are sufficient resources in the lower storage, the villager will begin working.
• Behavioral Traits:
  • The worker's level of intelligence leaves much to be desired. It can only craft the exact recipe you specify in the grid word for word (it does not understand item tag substitutions).
  • Can become confused if one of the ingredients cannot be stacked.
  • The worker, like any person, requires food and sleep. To maintain continuous operation, providing about three meals a day is sufficient.
  • Is notably shy — if you are nearby, it will stare at you instead of working (unless you are invisible). This is a programmed feature.
  • Dislikes idling, so it spends significantly less time gossiping and resting compared to other villagers, preferring to work.
  • Its work speed can be increased by applying a Speed status effect to it (for example, using a Splash Potion of Swiftness).
  • Automatic crafting will not function if the mobgriefing game rule is disabled.
