About the Mod

The Pyrite mod significantly expands the building block palette in vanilla Minecraft! If you enjoy creating colorful builds, you'll find stained planks, colored lamps, and bricks in all possible dye colors. Want to showcase your wealth? Use carved, pillar, and processed variants of all resource blocks! Most of these variations support creating stairs, slabs, fences, gates, walls, wall gates, trapdoors, pressure plates, buttons — everything you need to realize your design ideas.

Features

Over 1364 blocks and counting...

Colored Building Materials:

• Planks in all dye colors with full sets of derivative elements
• Stained bricks with corresponding slabs, stairs, and walls
• Terracotta bricks in all color variants

Resource Block Variations:

• Iron, gold, emerald, diamond, netherite, quartz, amethyst, lapis, and copper blocks with various processing options
• Carved, pillar, smooth versions, as well as bars, doors, trapdoors, and other elements

New Functional Elements:

• Wall gates — perfect additions to any fences
• Colored torches for creating special atmosphere
• Torch levers for hidden mechanism activation

Special Glass Blocks:

• Framed glass with decorative elements
• Switchable glass that becomes opaque when receiving redstone power
• Corresponding panes and colored versions

Additional Building Options:

• New nether brick types, including charred and blue variants
• Additional stone brick variations
• Lawn coverings with slabs, stairs, and carpets

Installation

Pyrite must be installed on both client and server. Supported versions include 1.21.1, 1.21.4, 1.21.5, and 1.21.8. For viewing crafting recipes, EMI or EIV is recommended.

Requirements:

• On Fabric, Fabric API is required
• On versions below 0.15, Architectury API is required

Compatibility

The mod adds additional content when the following modifications are installed:

• The Aether: Skyroot crafting tables and gates for all wall blocks
• Columns: Columns for all Pyrite wall blocks
• More Chest Variants: Chest variants for all Pyrite wood types
