Quartzium
Introduction
The Quartzium modification was created under the influence of the legendary XyCraft from Minecraft version 1.4.7. Although the inspiration is obvious, this project offers its own unique approach with simplified mechanics and an emphasis on aesthetic components. The developers deliberately abandoned complex technological elements in favor of decorative possibilities and magical aspects, making the mod distinctive and harmoniously complementing modern Minecraft.
Blocks and Their Features
Almost all Quartzium blocks (with the exception of ore) are available in 16 different color variations, opening up wide possibilities for creative construction. Some of them have additional functional properties.
Main Block Types:
- Ore - generates in five primary colors, drops 3-4 crystals when mined (quantity depends on Fortune enchantment)
- Crystals - can be placed in the world and combined to create new colors. Have light level 7 and break instantly
- Bricks - analogous to stone bricks but created from quartzium
- Blocks - used for compact storage of quartzium crystals
- Plates - have blast resistance of 96 and can serve as beacon bases
- Platforms - have blast resistance of 30 and break very quickly
- Shields - almost as durable as obsidian (blast resistance 336), also suitable for creating beacons
- Engineering Bricks - bricks with hexagonal pattern, will be used for creating functional blocks in the future
- Lamps - light sources similar to redstone lamps
- Inverted Lamps - inverted version of regular lamps
The current version includes some non-functional blocks that cannot currently be crafted. They will be available for creation in future updates but can already be used for decorative purposes.
