Rail Roads

Forget the need to constantly fiddle with minecarts! The Rail Roads mod fundamentally changes the approach to using rail tracks in Minecraft. Now you can ride on rails without the minecart itself!

How it works

The Rail Rider system allows any footwear item to gain the ability to slide on rails. To activate this function, simply combine a pair of boots with a regular minecart. After that, your character will be able to freely move along rail tracks by simply pressing the C key when standing on a rail.

Features and settings

By default, items with the Rail Rider function will wear out faster when used on rails, but this option can be disabled in the configuration file. The mod is fully compatible with both the base game version and most other modifications - all types of footwear, including those added by other mods, support this amazing capability.
