Survival mode
When playing in survival mode, you first need to get unpainted items before starting to paint them. To do this, drop any regular wooden item into a cauldron filled with water.
Painted items can be created from other colored items (for example, stairs from planks, fences from planks and sticks), but make sure that all used components have the same color.

Painting methods
Color mixing
This is the main method. The system calculates the average color from the incoming elements and applies it to the result. The recipe can use both painted items of the same type (you cannot mix stairs with slabs) and dyes.
Red Dye + Blue Dye + Unpainted Planks
Painting planks with Red Dye (RGB: 255, 0, 0) and Blue Dye (RGB: 0, 0, 255) will give planks color (127, 0, 127) - dark purple.

Red Dye + Unpainted Planks
Painting planks with Red Dye (RGB: 255, 0, 0) will give red planks color (255, 0, 0).

Blue Dye + Unpainted Planks
Painting planks with Blue Dye (RGB: 0, 0, 255) will give blue planks color (0, 0, 255).

Red Planks + Blue Planks
Mixing red planks (RGB: 255, 0, 0) and blue planks (RGB: 0, 0, 255) will give 2 planks color (127, 0, 127) - dark purple.

Purple Planks + Unpainted Planks
You can also combine unpainted items with painted items, which will result in duplicating painted elements. Mixing purple planks (RGB: 127, 0, 127) and unpainted planks will give 2 purple planks.

Color addition
To add the RGB values of input elements, you need to add an Iron Ingot to the recipe as a modifier.
Red Dye + Blue Dye + Unpainted Planks
Painting planks with Red Dye (RGB: 255, 0, 0) and Blue Dye (RGB: 0, 0, 255) will give planks color (255, 0, 255) - magenta.

Red Planks + Blue Planks
Mixing red planks (RGB: 255, 0, 0) and blue planks (RGB: 0, 0, 255) will give 2 planks color (255, 0, 255) - magenta.
