Raindance - Complete Weather Control
This mod provides unlimited control over weather conditions in Minecraft without affecting the game's standard logic. You can configure constant rain, snowfall, or thunderstorms, as well as completely disable weather phenomena - all of this is easily adjustable through configurations.
Practical Applications of Permanent Rain
Constant precipitation or thunderstorms create unique gameplay conditions, adding both advantages and additional challenges depending on the game mode.
Particularly useful in SkyBlock-like worlds or in conditions of limited water resources - rain fills cauldrons with water and maintains soil moisture, allowing efficient use of every available land block. Constant thunderstorms promote mob spawning, forcing more thorough area lighting.
Perfectly combines with other modifications and resource packs, but by itself offers extensive weather customization options:
- Ability to make it rain even in deserts and mesas
- Activation of permanent snowfall and thunderstorms or their complete disabling
- Disabling all weather phenomena or creating desert conditions in any biome
Configuration Settings
All options below take effect immediately and do not require world restart.
Weather Management
Available settings for all parameters: Always, Never, and Standard.
Weather Override - global management of weather conditions in the world, by default constantly activated Thunderstorm Override - control over thunderstorms, standardly doesn't modify game behavior Biome Override - overriding biome-specific precipitation characteristics, standardly allows rain everywhere Snow Override - management of snowfall, doesn't affect snow layer appearance in atypical biomes
