Ranold's Better Squids

This modification radically transforms ordinary Minecraft squids, turning them from the most primitive creatures into more interesting and dangerous opponents with unique abilities!

The main innovation is that squids can now blind the player with an ink attack. The duration of the blindness effect depends on the selected difficulty level: no effect on peaceful difficulty, 3 seconds on easy, 5 seconds on normal, and a full 8 seconds of immersion in darkness on hard. This ensures balanced gameplay for all experience levels.

In future updates, the developer plans to add new mechanics for glow squids, including hypnotic abilities similar to those presented during the mob vote. The mod continues to actively develop, promising even more interesting opportunities for underwater adventures!
