Realistic Human Pain and Suffering

This modification presents a realistic character health system, created in the style of popular addons like First Aid and Realistic Health. Instead of the traditional health bar, each body part here has its own damage resistance.

Critical injuries to the torso or head area lead to instant death, which adds tension to the game and requires a more cautious approach to combat. For accurate hit zone detection, a ray tracing system borrowed from First Aid is used - now damage from melee weapons and projectiles is applied exactly to the body part that was hit.

The mod is a spiritual successor to Body Health System but is free from many of the original's issues, such as the infinite death loop when having the instant health regeneration effect.

Healing Items

• Medicinal Herbs - crafted from flowers and serve as the basis for morphine and bandages
• Morphine - increases sedation level with each use
• Bandages - provide minor health restoration
• Medkit - allows significant health recovery

Status Effects

• Sedation - reduces negative consequences from received damage
• Overdose - occurs with excessive morphine use, applies serious debuffs for 5 minutes that cannot be removed with milk
