ReAuth (Fabric)
Introducing the Fabric version of ReAuth, a popular solution for session management in Minecraft.
Important Notice
Please note that Microsoft accounts are not supported by ReAuth at this time. If you plan to continue using this mod, we recommend temporarily refraining from migrating to Microsoft accounts.
What This Mod Does
This practical client-side tool solves the common problem where an invalid session requires a complete game restart. Now everything has become much simpler:
- Session Status Monitoring: Track your game session status directly in the multiplayer menu
- Login Process Without Restart: Perform reauthorization without needing to restart the client
- Connection Error Handling: Special buttons for quick login retry attempts during failed connections
- Account Switching: Easily switch between different accounts during gameplay
- Offline Gaming: Ability to change username for offline gaming sessions
Technical Features
This mod works exclusively on the client side - it has no effect on servers and doesn't require installation on the server side.
Detailed Functionality
Session Status Indicator A convenient indicator appears in the upper part of the multiplayer menu screen. Red color signals the need to log back into the system.
Simplified Login
The authorization screen allows you to log in and optionally save credentials in the configuration. Please note: despite using AES encryption for password protection (with a key based on the file location), there is a theoretical possibility of malicious programs accessing encrypted data. Symbolic links can be used for sharing configuration between different instances.
Connection Error Handling
When a server connection attempt fails due to an invalid session, you'll see additional buttons on the error screen. The first opens the login screen, the second provides a "login and retry" function when authorization data is saved.
