Updating Existing Biomes

This mod fundamentally transforms existing Minecraft biomes while maintaining the vanilla game style, making them look as impressive as recently updated locations.

New Maple Biome

The mod adds a completely new biome with maple trees that have unique characteristics:

• Trees with branching structure
• Falling leaves for atmosphere creation
• New wood type for construction
• Sweet sap that can be collected

Syrup Production

Collected maple sap can be processed into restorative syrup. For this you need:

• Collect sap from trees
• Smelt it in a furnace to obtain syrup
• Use a special collection tool: hold the tapper in your left hand, bucket in your right hand, and collect sap from overflowing logs

Building Materials

Many new blocks are available, perfectly suited for creating a sugar shack or other maple-themed structures.

Updated Birch Forests

Birch forests have received significant improvements:

• Taller and more winding trees with knotty structure
• Oyster mushrooms growing on birch bark
• New plants: Christmas flowers, fireweed and other decorative species

Culinary Possibilities

Oyster mushrooms can be grown, roasted and consumed. Fireweed syrup is also available, serving as an early version of healing potion - a sweet, watery and extremely beneficial drink.
