A Forge modification that introduces remote interaction elements with various blocks into Minecraft, providing players with completely new possibilities for automation and convenience.

Mod Capabilities

Currently, the mod includes one main type of device - Block Remote, which allows you to remotely interact with any blocks in the game world. The operation process is extremely simple and intuitive.

To activate remote control for any block, you just need to crouch (holding Shift) and right-click on the target block while holding Block Remote in your hand. After this, the registration procedure is completed, and the remote is ready for use.

During subsequent use of the remote (right-clicking on it), standard interaction with the bound block will be reproduced. This can include activating levers, opening furnace interfaces, chests, and any other blocks that support standard player actions.

Important Technical Detail

It's necessary to consider a critically important limitation: remote devices do not provide chunk loading. This means that blocks that are part of data storage mechanisms (so-called block entities) will function correctly only if the corresponding chunk is in the game's active loading zone.

For example, if you remotely interact with a smelting furnace, it will begin smelting ore only under the condition that the chunk with this furnace is loaded by the game system - either being part of spawn chunks, or being maintained by the activity of other players or additional mods for keeping world regions loaded.
