This project is no longer under development as it was created using MCreator, which currently does not support Fabric.

About the Modification

ReOred is a comprehensive expansion that significantly enhances Minecraft's resource base by adding numerous new ores, armor sets, tools, and other elements to create a deeper and more diverse gaming experience.

The mod is inspired by two well-known resource expansion projects - Metallurgy by ShadowClaimer and Metallurgy 4: Reforged. Both of these projects are stuck on older game versions: the first on 1.7.10 (development discontinued), the second on 1.12.2 (development continues but porting to new versions is not planned).

Important: ReOred has no connection to the original Metallurgy mods and was created completely from scratch.

Development Plans

AlphaDev (current stage)

• Added at least 2 new ores with corresponding armor and tool sets (silver - completed)
• Implemented oak wood armor
• Added copper armor and tools

BetaDev

• Additional 8 new ores with armor and tools (total 10 ores)
• More wood armor variants
• Smelting recipes for copper items
• One set of decorative blocks (5+ blocks)
• Possible addition of one new ore to the Nether and one to the End

Alpha

• Another 15 new ores with sets (total 25 ores)
• Remaining wood armor variants
• Second set of decorative blocks
• Additional ores in the Nether and End (2 in each dimension)
• More wooden crafting table variants

Beta

• Additional 15 new ores (total 40 ores)
• Remaining crafting table variants
• Another 2 sets of decorative blocks (total 4 sets)
• 3 new ores each in the Nether and End (total 5 in each dimension)
• 2 new wood types

Pre-Release

• Bug fixes and error corrections

Release 1.0

• 40 new ores with complete armor and tool sets
• New wooden armor and crafting tables
• Copper armor and tools
• 4 sets of decorative blocks (20+ blocks)
• 2 new wood types
• Updated textures for copper and silver armor and tools

Snapshots

Experimental versions for developers and testers that may contain unstable features and are intended only for familiarization with new capabilities and bug hunting.

Future Version Plans

For subsequent releases (1.1, 2.0, etc.) the following is planned:

• Addition of 10 new ores in each major update
• One new set of decorative blocks
• 2 new wood types
• One new machine (alloys, improved furnaces, ore doubling technology, etc.)
• And much more
